五月壬午,湖北第十六会群龙舟赛秭归。宜昌队连胜三项,包揽首日三金。
是日上午,男女十人运龙舟二百米直道,皆以三轮冲一拔头筹;下晡,合十余人,以二千米径道中,遂夺冠。
凡有自恩施、黄冈,黄石,十堰,宜昌等十一队以上。比设四六道,为男、女组,相次而行,三百余人,日四十余战。龙舟亮于东京,亦正式也。



On May 27, the Dragon Boat Race of the 16th Hubei Provincial Games was held in Zigui. Team Yichang won three events in a row, sweeping the first three gold medals.
In the morning, after three rounds of competition, Yichang Olympic Team men and women won the first place in the 200-meter Dragon Boat Race for 10 men and 10 women.
A total of 11 teams from Enshi, Huanggang, Huangshi, Shiyan and Yichang participated in the competition. According to the rules, the race consists of 4-6 tracks, divided into men's group, women's group, mixed group in turn, more than 300 athletes in the next few days to launch more than 40 games. This competition is also conforms to the Olympic Games standard athletics dragon boat to appear after Tokyo Olympic Games, participates in the official competition.
